Week 5 - Self Study

Hi guys, This devlog is week 5 self study. In this week I have chance to work with lighting in Unity. Based on following youtube video of Brackeys:

By following the instructions, I baked the lighting by performing everything according to the guidelines video in the material inspector, then setting all objects to static, and finally baking. Here is my work after following a half earlier of video:

Continue to follow the video tutorial, I made the light glow to make the game's lighting more realistic and lively by adding post-processing to the camera.

After getting familiar with lighting, I continued by watching another video by Brackeys about Shadergraph.

In this part, I encountered some troubles because my version in Unity was different from the one in the video. As a result, there were some differences in the names of the packages and some discrepancies between the two versions. This took me some time to configure out, but fortunately, I managed to complete it in the end.

With the experience I gained from the tutorial, I implemented lighting and shadergraph into my portfolio. However, during the process, I encountered an issue where the material wouldn't display images. After some efforts, I discovered that it was due to the missing default render pipeline in the Graphics in the Project Settings

After that, I fixed it by creating a Pipeline Asset through Assets/Create/Rendering/URP Asset and adding it to the Default Render Pipeline. Finally, I was relieved to have resolved the issue and successfully added Shadergraph to my portfolio

Then my result for lighting in my portfolio I made earlier:

This is an end of my week 5 self study, extremely challenge but I feel happy when dealing with them successfully.  Thank you for looking my work!
